"Charming and delicious. The food was what our friend called “the real deal”. This is really authentic Mexican food. The chips Salsas beans and guacamole were perfection. The “Casseroles” of beef and chicken that we ordered with the homemade tortillas were different and delicious. Really Mexican flavors. It is obvious that time and care went into preparation for all our dishes. And yes, the tortilla soup was as special as the previous reviews have specified!! The most important lime and banana cream cakes were just as good. Very recommended if you want to experience real flavors in a charming atmosphere."

"The fish of the day (sea bass cabrilla) was superb! Antonio was our server who gave us good suggestions and paid attention to detail. The patio is lovely and romantic. We can’t wait to see when the upper terrace is opened."

"Another fabulous night at Il Forno! We’ve tried so many places to eat in Cabo and Il Forno remains number one on our list. The burratta can’t be beat, and the fettuccine Alfredo is the best ever! We also love the lasagna, shrimp with pink sauce, spinach ravioli and pizza. If only we could eat here every day! The service is always top notch last night Carlos and Daniel took great care of us, along with the rest of the staff. And Mateo is fantastico too!"

"Epic fail. This place looks great, but everything else is something to avoid. I visited the restaurant as a guest, not staying at the hotel it is in; made a reservation 3 days in advance specified to be on the patio one the app (open table). Got there to find that they would not seat us at one of the 11 tables available on the patio at the time, and ended up inside. The service was sub par we were clearly an inconvenience. The drinks from the bar were very good the house margarita was tasty BUT it was $25USD outrageous! The food was mediocre... At best. My pork enchiladas had a bone the size of the end of my index finger in it... I called over the waiter, said he would speak to the manager... NOTHING... No follow up at all. They asked how we enjoyed our meal at the end and we told them that all 5 of us were quite disappointed. They couldn't have cared less.
