I?ve been coming to Corner House for over 15 years now. It?s definitely my favorite lunch place! In the back of the house is a secondary spot to order acai bowls, smoothies, and coffee drinks. I also love the outdoor seating with tables that seat 1, 2, 4, and 6+ people to accommodate groups of many different sizes. It?s a great place to come and have a relaxing lunch on any beautiful San Diego day!
What a cute place. The açaí is good and the coffee is solid. What I really love is the ambiance and the convenient location when traveling on the 5. I love independent coffee shops and am so glad stopped.
Good sandwich place. Call ahead and the food will always be done by the time you get there.
Great place for smoothies and coffee. They make it fresh when you order it. A wide variety and very tasty!! Definitely recommend
The smoothies and drinks here are probably great. I went trying to order something with fruit and asked if there was Cantaloupe (there wasn 't), and then perhaps a smoothie without a frozen banana (not my thing). Both times the woman looked at me like How dare I question her menu or recipe , like Why would you need to change or take away any of my fabulous ingredients? I decided to order an almond butter croissant. There wasn 't a description of this croissant but I assumed it was like the ones at Starbucks when you order the chocolate or almond croissants and it 's warm and baked together like a fine pastry. I was wrong. It was a warmed up (pretty sure store bought) croissant, cut in half, and spread with the almond butter...like a sandwich. Like I just paid for a peanut butter sandwich with no jelly on flaky bread for almost $5. So I 'm working through that. Again the drinks are probably awesome. I doubt I 'll ever go back but if I do I 'll ask for a coffee and leave it at that. I appreciate the lady for telling me about the drinks but I feel she still had a rudeness to her. I 'm the one with so much audacity.
