Zozo's N. Y. Pizza - La Jolla

I am able to come here all once in a while and go for the deep plate of Popeye Pizza (Spinch and Veggie), Nashville hot crispy chicken sandwich and/or chicken wings. All are fabulous if not the best in the whole state!! Parking is validated and when the lot is full, there are usually some parking spaces on the street not too far away. Do not try to go there on a Tuesday, although they are CLOSED! I didn't even do that, but twice, hahahaha. My fault, but a real disappointment.

I always love beer selection on tip here. The pizza never fails me. In addition, it is a great meeting place! On a good day (before they run out or close the pasta part of the kitchen), I also get the Bolognese.

As a New Yorker and lived in Chicago, I'm pretty impressed by the meat lovers of deep food pizza. They were here twice a week because it's damn good and with a drink, under $10. Little Italy SD could use a deep dish option to mix things it down there.

Delicious Pizza by the slice! I left there and said to my friend, This place runs like a well oiled machine . The staff is kind and helpful. The hard apple cider from Julian was divine. And we got a side of the Buffalo cauliflower wings. Yummy! Spicy with ranch blue cheese on the side! The food and service gets my 5 star . However, eating there is pretty loud. They have family style tables which is fun for mixing and mingling if you 're in that mood. However the noise that night was over the top and give inside eating a 4 star for that night. Highly recommend! I will definitely go again!

This is such a great local pizza joint! They have Chicago style as well as NY Style pizzas that can be sold by the slice or by whole pies. But don't just go for the pizzas. They have some great appetizers, salads, pastas and sandwiches/burgers as well. They also have a great draft list which includes at least 2 ciders (which is my drink of choice) and the service is awesome as well.
