"Overrated sushi joint. I've tried Sushi Wara in two different locations and while the Ladysmith location is a little more flavourful and fresh than the nanaimo location, I still only choose sushi Wara when I need a sushi fix and other sushi locations are closed. They are open more often than most sushi restaurants which is nice. Other then that I just find the sushi to be pretty mediocre."

"Stopped in for lunch and had a delicious pulled pork and cheese melt on delicious gluten free bread. The bread was moist and not crumbly at all. Salad was delicious and fresh. They had a few tasty looking options for baked goods and I plan to visit again to try them. Everything in the restaurant was gluten free!"

"The best Thai food I’ve had on Vancouver Island. Som Tam is my favourite. The only downside is that I live in Courtenay and wish you could open another restaurant in the Comox Valley so I could eat there every day!"

"Your typical Canadian chinese food, the combo was fried rice or noodles, sprig rolls and sweet n sour pork. Cooked well, Sat up at the bar and got full for about $10 Good if you like that type of food and need a good sized...meal at a good price"
