"Still one of the best restaurants in Colorado. The views are outstanding. We arrived early enough to have the sun set during our time there. The food, as always, is outstanding. We left so full. The best aspect of the Flagstaff House is the service. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the menu was custom printed with the celebrant's name and date on it. The server then offered to have the menu placed in our car so we would not forget it. The overall service from arrival to departure was top notch. This is a large reason why we visit the Flagstaff House for those special occasions. You do feel like royalty"

"Best cake ever! All of their flavors are delicious and the cakes are super moist. I don't like cake from anywhere else because the frosting is too rich but this place has the perfect balance of cake and frosting. I won't go anywhere else!"

"I recommend this place. This place is a nice break from the more crowded and pretentious places you encounter in Boulder and the other L-Towns. I like Boulder, Louisville, Lyons and Longmont, but it's nice to go someplace where other working class people are more likely to congregate like Lafayette. The coffee in this place is good and they have great service. The food offerings are just okay and a bit limited in range, but, though a pedestrian offering, they do sell Nutter Butter cookies which is a personal favorite which goes superbly with coffee. Never underestimate Nutter Butter people! The building and the rooms in it are pleasant with opportunities to find small quiet spaces to read, talk and play games with friends and family. Speaking of reading and games, they appear to provide both books to read and games to play for those interested."

"I was here twice, spent over $40 and never again the meal I ordered. when I first ordered baba ganoush on a falafel pita, and a side of the fries. they put a few fries on my sandwich and gave me a small, overpriced side of baba ganoush. No, back. cost over $20 when I expected $12-15, and they wouldn't change the price to reflect what I had ordered. second time, after I gave the wrong order to execute, I spoke to a manager who said I had received a refund, but they gave me only a partial refund. I'm vegetarian, they gave me a meat gyro, so it went right into the müll, just like my money when I spend it here."
