"To eat one of my favorite places in the western North Carolina. Don't stop eating or drinking when you're in a hurry. Be ready to relax, take your time and enjoy everything in. Where else you can be in a remote location to enjoy some live music, good food and drink, mountain air and very relaxed atmosphere. In some nights there might be a fire to meet with new friends. No way to compare it with any other food and beverage facility, which is why so many people become regular!"

"Seen this place on Restaurant Impossible with Robert Irvine and had to try it. Food was good. Would have liked the wings to be more crispy, but they were moist and delicious anyway. (Guess I'm just used to Buffalo wings from the Anchor bar in Buffalo NY). Had the patty melt and it was so buttery and the fried Okra complimented it nicely. Staff was super nice friendly. I even got to meet Mr. Raynard Walker, the owner shake his hand. We'll be back to try some of the other interesting menu items."

"Very good restaurant the food comes out fast and quick and tastes good and it's low price . What more can you ask for. The people there are very nice and they cook the food and bring it out quickly . The place is nicely decorated and has good paintings on the wall. Overall a good restaurant would recommend."

"Great staff and our trip were very pleasant. Bed was comfortable and I didn't wake up with back pain. Terry was very friendly and friendly. We were late (by hours), but Terry was there to welcome us as soon as we arrived. Very accommodating and we will visit again soon! The room seemed recently renovated. Near the city and I definitely for anyone visiting the area."

"We came from outside of Charlotte for Christmas, second time to the Lake House. We sat at the bar and Destiny was our bartender. She was absolutely amazing. So fun to chat with, food was great, drinks were perfect. Absolutely recommend!!"

"After exploring Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls, I welcomed this place as a break from the heat on the small Main Street. For a small unassuming place, the seating on the water, the great beer options, the service, and the food were fantastic. What was intended as a quick beer stop ended up being an enjoyable and relaxing meal watching groups gather in the river upstream. You'll appreciate this stop!"
