"The service was excellent the room was nice and comfortable, but I there is free water, and free , and free coffee and tea, with a also some fruit. The hotel is old butcher so the restaurant was fantastic, and overpriced as the cost was 110 euros per person but good enough. The place is amazing and the hiking spots surround the hotel, and so 10 out of 10. Perfect. The breakfast was cool too."

"On our way to the airport we paid Vicino a visit to have diner. The service was good and friendly, and the dish we ordered (we both had the Vicino's Burger) arrived rather quickly. Unfortunately the beef was just too rare for our taste (the...waiter did not ask our preference during ordering), but as we had a plane to catch, we didn't had the time to have it reheated on the grill. Also the Gruyère cheese wasn't my cup of tea, so overall it was a slightly disappointing experience. On the other hand our waiter wanted to be helpful, and offered us a free espresso afterwards (which we had to refuse due to our tight travelling schedule). Therefore I would give Vicino another chance (without Gruyère) next time."

"Once a year my former boss organizes a get together with his former direct reports. I was able to make it this year so I traveled from France to Olten. We met at some bar before we headed to Restaurant Salmen for an amazing dinner....Despite being Swiss, I gotten used to French prices so I found it very expensive but at the same time, I believe that it is for a Swiss restaurant of such quality a price that is ok. Given the quality of the food, it was more than worth it. I went for the set menu which included the starter, 2 main courses and a dessert for CHF 87.00. The salad with bacon and croutons was fantastic, the fish was moist but at the same time, cooked to perfection. The Swiss prime fillet was outstanding and cooked the way I wanted it. In Switzerland you do not need to be ashamed when you want it well-done (in France they look at you as if you were going to kill the cow again... . So a fantastic dinner, with great friends, in a great restaurant with very friendly and efficient service."
