"Spice Valley Indian Cuisine Hey all! I don't do this often, but I needed to put this out there. This is by far one of the best restaurant's in Victoria, and for sure the best Indian restaurant. If 10 stars were an option, they would get 20 from us..The experience we got tonight was beyond exceptional. The food is exceptional. Always fresh and full of flavor, there is not one thing we have tried that we haven't loved. Since finding this gem they have been a regular staple for us. It's that good!!!! One thing that outshines its food (almost an impossible feat) is their customer service. The level of care, detail, and love they give their customers is incredible. This can only come from the passion of a local family run restaurant. It does not matter if you eat in house or order deliver from Skip they always go above and beyond for their customers. If you have not tired this restaurant Do it now!!! You won't be disappointed."

"I have been here a couple of times and the pizza is always fresh and tasty. The price is a bit high if you prefer pizza with 1 or 2 toppings. I had a salad pizza this time and it was nice and fresh and tasty. I think it was the boss who came out to help the employee who was unsure about toppings. He was super polite and helpful. The employees could benefit with some skills to interact with customers. All seemed a bit resigned to being there."

"We have been coming back regularly because the food is just so good here. I've been looking for a good Phở since moving to BC and I've tried many places in Vancouver before coming to Victoria. I've finally found it. All other dishes we've tried so far have been very delicious as well and the staff is always super friendly. Also, the prices are absolutely fair which makes it even better."

"Always fantastic and worth the wait. I’ve never had a problem with their management or customer service, and they’re always kind when we come in to place an order or call over the phone. Learn what time to order, as they get busy (and guess what? there’s nothing wrong with them being busy). If you can’t order over the phone, come in and wait with someone or bring a book. The atmosphere in the resturant is great! Sit down, have a beer or a pop, and relax. They’re doing the best they can, and have got many more customers than they expected since they opened. Rock on, Chicken 649! You got a customer for life here."

"On a recent trip to Victoria, my husband I tried Chimac Korean loved it. We went at opening time (noon) had a great waiter. The service was good the food delicious. I tried their spicy chicken soup my husband had the chicken gizzards. The portions are quite filling. It is a small and cozy restaurant/pub with great food. Shout out to our waiter unfortunately we did not think to get his name. When in Victoria, we definitely would go back."
