We stopped in for lunch after doing some shopping, and we enjoyed the meal immensely. The place was hopping, even for a Friday afternoon. We had a grilled chicken salad, which was great- lots of good stuff in it. We also ordered a perogy burger, which definitely wasn't diet food, but it was worth every bite. Great food ,atmosphere and drinks! But the regular Tuesday Alvins' special Chinese combo is disappointing to say the least. The chow mein with bell peppers was off palate, the sweet and sour was pale in colour and fatty in texture.the rice was more steamed than fried, and the 3 chicken wing tips were tasteless and overcooked.
