What User likes about Merwans:
I've been coming here for years for the best, by far, chicken pies. Alas, I was told yesterday they are no longer making plain chicken pies. Chicken & veg and other varieties are OK, but the plain chicken were the best ever. I used to drive an hour and a half to buy a pack, but won't be bothering any more. Very sad. View all feedback.

Pies and pasties are generally fair/good, sweets were very blandm I bought a custard tart and the pastry was undercooked, soggy and left a floury residue on the roof of my mouth. Not good! The girl at the counter also didn't seem to know how to smile! View all feedback.
Temptation bakery has an awesome range of vegetarian and the woman who served us was extremely helpful
The lady was so friendly and helpful even though we went in right on closing time
