"My son and I are taking a few days in the UP to visit my Alma Mater (Go Huskies! and explore the Copper Country before school starts. Hotel prices in Houghton are ridiculous. Luckily we found the Lakeside Inn. The room isn’t overly large but big enough for two queens, a table, dresser, and a mini fridge/freezer and microwave. The room is CLEAN. I travel for work and use all the major hotel chains-the cleanliness is usually lacking even in the more expensive hotels. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re up here next."
