"I was debating on the star situation. We got in at 8, your restaurant already closed, so we just went up to the room to change into warmer clothes and head out to the one open place in town to eat. We walked into the room, the beds were unmade. We walked back out and downstairs. We were told there was only that room and a room with a wet carpet. No housekeeping. We went to eat and they promised to fix it. We got back and it was fixed, looked great, smelled great, very clean! We got a rebate, and they were very apologetic. I just wish it had gone smoother so we could have enjoyed the amenities. The hot tub looked nice, but I was exhausted by then. We were going to have breakfast in the morning, but let them know your there when u seat yourself as we were overlooked. Then we left because they only had one server, so breakfast was taking awhile! The views from the room are great and the staff is really nice!!"

"RUN do NOT walk and check this place out. Beautiful lake views, VERY personable Chef get the make your own burger (6oz was bigger than we thought it would be) and was cooked to order (cooked exactly as specified). The beef patty was seasoned with some sort of magic it was really good. Chips were standard with the burger, or fries (which we already had for an appetizer), so I got the onion rings. We were so full all four of us took home leftovers. We should have ordered dessert. The dessert menu had Tiramisu and two other choices. Too full... Wait... wrapped cinnamon rolls w/frosting? We're thinking that it will be similar to a very famous U.P. restaurant/bakery that is on top of a Hill nearby. Wrong. THE CINNAMON ROLL is AMAZING. I will request any person who travels through the area to stop in and buy as many as possible for me. The dough has a pleasantly sweet flavor that enhances the spice, not masking it. I tasted a hint of almond extract was it the sugared filling? The frosting? I don't know, and I am too busy scarfing this down so that I don't have to share it with anyone. Go get one."
