After hiking we stopped at the Central Restaurant again. The summer hits are ideal for a snack (salads as a starter and main course and various burgers). I decided on a veggi burger. Was rich and tasty. The French fries anyway. We'll be back soon. read more.

"This place is great for both pizza and focaccia sandwiches. Very fresh ingredients, imaginative toppings, and nice people. There are only a couple of tables so I avoid the lunch crunch and many people do take away. This is one of my favorite places for...lunch in Basel.
