"Best table in the house is the one in the kitchen! My 77 year old Mum was visiting from Australia and is a real foodie so I decided to take her to Frasca."

"We have had two dinners here. For the first we were very hungry and decided on the seafood platter for two. What a great spread: a large variety of seafood, the breaded fish/scallops etc were well-done, all fish were extremely fresh and tasty. We were very pleased. The second night we were here we weren't very hungry so we chose the chicken caesar salads. Again, the food was well-prepared and very tasty. We would venture to guess that everything from the kitchen is worthwhile eating. Service was great. Wine choices, were maybe not that great, but there really is no bad Tasmanian wine, and there are plenty of good mainland wines for the picky. Price for the seafood platter was very reasonable for a pair of Canadians who don't get much good seafood where we come from. Highly, highly recommended."

"Delicious food from this little place. We had takeaway and loved it all. Although from the outside it doesn't look that appealing the food speaks for itself. If you want simple good authentic Mexican don't go past Tio Rico!"

"We had a breakfast reservation, so sat down at the table with our name on the reserved sign. Our table was in the middle of the restaurant with staff whizzing past for 250 minutes without delivering menus or offering coffee. We finally managed to stop a waitress requesting menus and to place a drinks order, only to be told we didn't follow protocol and report to counter on arrival. Other clients who arrived after us, did the same but they seemed to get service and had orders taken and received their meals before us. We finally got our coffee 40 minutes after arriving at the café and got our orders taken. The menu looked impressive but my eggs were bordering on overcooked and there was nothing special about the meal. After taking away our dishes there was no offer to take another drinks order and again we had to ask a waitress whizzing past if we could order some more drinks. I would give this place a miss as there are many other cafes who appreciate your patronage and give much better service."
