What Eldon Cassin likes about Fitzies City Cafe:
This canteen style cafe is absolutely fabulous and quite unbelievable in this day and age. The premises takes you back to the 'good old days' with old fashion service from lovely friendly staff with fresh products and clean premises. A place to relax and enjoy a trip down memory lane at an affordable cost. Really recommend a visit either for a meal or just a treat or two of milkshakes and banana splits. Excellent. read more.

This place was always a favourite when shopping in Launceston. Today however made me realize I don't ever want to be ripped off like this again. My cup of tea (asked for a t-bag on the side as I like it weak) was one of those cheap and nasty t-bags with no string. For that and a cup of tea for my sister and a tiny sliice cost us $19.50..
