"I visited Le Comptoir yesterday for the first time. I had not intended to but it was lunchtime and I was in the area. What a wonderful surprise. Tucked away on a sunny hillside with a great terrace. The ambience was great, the food excellent and reasonably priced and the staff were excellent too. The added bonus of a decent 9 hole golf course was good. I will certainly be returning on many occasions as I am building a house in a neighbouring village and will be living there soon, so I hope to make the place I go when i want a good meal. Congratulations on a winning formula."

"Nous avons déjeuné en terrasse (installée sous l'ancien marché couvert). Les plats sont simples mais savoureux: nous avons testé la charcuterie, le confit et le cassoulet. Le cassoulet est vraiment excellent: haricots assez cuits, peu gras, peu salé, très bon confit de canard (cuisse), saucisse de Toulouse maison (viande grossièrement hachée, géniale) et cerise sur le gâteau: un morceau d andouille de couenne ! Le jeune chef (Gaby) certifié que tout est fait maison car il est aussi charcutier. Service souriant assuré par sa cousine. Là salle est rustique et joliment décorée. cadre typiquedans ce village magnifique dont nous ignorions l'existence avant de lire le routard."
