cool place with good beer; service was bad and eating was fair. fish and chips ordered, chips were very good, but the fish was well overcooked. server has never checked for us I wanted another beer and seemed completely indifferent or unannounced about our meal. Get the pretzel bites! Best pimento cheese I've ever had and they're so soft and fluffy. Beers are good too, love a half peach half raspberry.

"I was truly impressed with our visit today. The food and the staff were excellent. We had the two meat plates with burnt ends fried pickles, baked beans, and fries. The burnt ends were the best we have ever had. They were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The young lady at the counter named Shy was truly what made our day. Not only did she have excellent customer service skills but she also asked us how the food was on the way out the door. That is so rare these days, it really made our day. Thank you for being the best BBQ place around town and in Kansas"

"The person that dropped off my food heard me say oh man. He came back and asked what was wrong. I told him I forgot to ask for no lettuce, he took it back and fixed it.
