"Stopped for lunch on way to Caen. Moules and frites were first class....service was excellent.....perfect crepe to finish. Restaurant very clean and a lovely location by the beach. So why the low score? There is ZERO adherence to social distancing. Writing this as France is...heading towards a second resurgence of the virus and UK government on the brink of announcing a quarantine for returning visitors. Yes, the waiters wearing face masks and there were 2 hand gel dispenser (only 1 working! . The place was packed. No spaces between tables. People back to back. We were a family of 4 and offered a table initially in a corridor with people pushing past us! We moved tables to eventually one away from the madness. Compared with the measures taken by the UK and the fact the disease is airbourne, this is just not acceptable. I question the staff at the end and they agreed. Please can the management take note. This is putting you staff and customers at unnecessary risk."

A nice little extra: dogs are accepted We enjoyed fresh produce cooked on site, the pastries were delicious, the brunch was plentiful and we had the choice between several options on each element of the formula.
