"Wife and I went there for dinner waited 25 minutes to be seated while we were waiting people walked and were immediately greeted by name and told they will have their “usual” drink in a minute they clearly favor the regulars. After being seated we placed our order and took 55 minutes to get out food. Cooks need more training on how to cook meat. Burger was far from medium rare and fries where soft."

"Never get chicken chow mein here. All veggie little bit of chicken and little bit of noidle. I absolutely love China palace! We usually get pupu platters I wanted to try something different and tried chicken chow mein. Never again. I'll stick to the fried stuff."

"Stopped here for lunch and ice cream after a shopping trip. The lobster roll and a generous amount of lobster, one of the best that I have had! The crinkle fries had a nice crunch, without being overly greasy. For dessert there were dairy free options! I had the small mint oreo in a dish. The small is 9oz, I couldn't finish it all in one go, so with my napkin and spoon I made a makeshift lid, which helped keep it together until I found a freezer for the rest. The ice cream was just as good as when it was scooped."

"We've been dying to try this place, especially since it has so many rave reviews on here. The mysterious white building and windows you can't see into also piqued our interest. The truth: meh. We had the buttery chicken, chicken fried rice, pork cakes, spring rolls, meatball soup and oxtail soup. We were ready to chow. The food was flavorless and dry, unfortunately. After a few bites, we tossed everything except the fried rice (spicy! , buttery fried chicken and spring rolls. There was zero seasoning in everything, so it just tasted fatty and gelatinous when we bit into the pork cakes and oxtail. I mean, we knew gelatinous fat was part of the deal, we just didn't want another bite after that. The meatball soup was like a ball of meat goo in watery soup, which was served with dry chicken and plain noodles. We added tons of salt and it didn't help. This was a real bummer. We hope we caught this team on an off night, but these funky food lovers won't be headed back anytime soon."
