Le Mange Debout - Leucate

Le Mange Debout is a lovely little spot run by the sweetest woman, Cathy. She was so kind and upbeat and warm. She was excited to tell us about her homemade sauces and spices and sandwiches, and offered a book to read while we waited. The food was delicious and inexpensive. You must go! Absolutely worth it!

You get greeted by this cheerful lovely woman, Cathy. She starts describing her sandwiches menu with passion emphasizing on homemade recipes and sauces. I ordered the anchovies sandwiches and it was delightful. She prepares you fresh juices with the option of mixing two together. Cathy speaks English quite well, which is an addition for someone like me. I'm going there later today after my Kitesurfing session at around 5, because all other kitchens in Leucate will open at 7.
