Die Scharitzkehlalm liegt sehr idyllisch in einem Talkessel, der von drei Seiten von Bergen umschlossen ist. Sie liegt direkt unterhalb des Kehlsteinhauses. Die von uns bestellten Kuchen waren geschmacklich ausgezeichnet. Die Preise sind angemessen, nicht zu teuer. read more.

Bewertung kann man das nicht nennen, eher ein Hinweis für Nachfolgende. Die Alm war heute unser Wanderziel, leider standen wir vor verschlossenen Türen. Alm und Hütte sind wohl neu zu verpachten, im Internet steht leider auch nichts drin. Also vor einem Besuch erst anrufen. read more.

I wanted to hike up to the Eagle's Nest but it was February and there was at least 1,5 meters of snow so I started to walk from where the bus dropped me off at...

The food and service is fantastic. The place is very quaint and has tremendous old wold charm. the view of the Schritzkehl is breath taking. Well worth stopping...

"Konoba Pinna Nobilis is a new seafood restaurant in Hallein to cycle, so naturally we had to see for ourselves. It is a small and cozy restaurant with tasteful interior. The young waitress was particularly charming. While my family ordered the fixed menu, I decided to have fish soup as a starter (the daily special, I didn't know what it would cost), a seafood plate and the dessert of my father from the solid menu. The soup, accompanied by bread, was good even though I had eaten better. I really enjoyed my seafood plate grilled shrimps, Calamari and Scallops with a handful of vegetables and potatoes and I tasted some of the fish from the solid menu that was also excellent. When I finished my main course, I felt quite hungry and I wish there were more potatoes and vegetables on my plate. This is something I will never understand: Why run restaurants on the sides? They are not expensive and they will ensure that customers leave the restaurant with full bells. I was hoping the dessert would save me two slices of chocolate mousse with fresh fruit, but not. When the check came, I was surprised to notice that the fish soup that was a starter was so expensive. If I had spent 2€ more, I would have eaten the three course menu. It would have been nice to tell the waitress that I was before. So, while the atmosphere and seafood in Konoba Pinna Nobilis are undoubtedly very good, they should work on transparency and the amount of pages they put on their plates."

"Irgendwie sind die Dinge, die spontan passieren immer die, die am besten sind. So auch dieser Abend. Geplant war gar nichts, eigentlich nur auf der Durchreise hab ich spontan eine Nacht in Salzburg drangehängt. Vom Red Bull Hangar 7 hatte ich ja schon viel gehört, insofern hab ich mich über diesen Vorschlag meiner Bekannten sehr gefreut.Die Cocktail Karte war riesig! Ich hab mich für einen rauchigen Drink entschieden und war geschmacklich sehr erstaunt, wie rauchig ein Cocktail tatsächlich schmecken kann. Auf Nachfrage wurde mir erklärt, dass dazu Sägespäne angezündet wird und dieser Rauch dann in einem speziellen Behälter, in dem der Cocktail auch serviert wird, eingefangen wird. Also unbedingt ausprobieren! Schmeckt einzigartig!Dazu gab's Nüsse zu knabbern, eigentlich eine ganzes Nusssortiment, welches auf Wunsch immer wieder gegen eine neue Portion ausgetauscht wurde. Das Service war sowieso immer sehr charmant.Auch das Ambiente ist grandios! Der Ausblick in den Hanger wahnsinnig imposant. Im Stockwerk unter der Bar befindet das Restaurant Ikarus. Wir konnten oben den Klängen des Pianos lauschen... Hier will ich das nächste Mal unbedingt Essen gehen zumal die Küche ja phantastisch sein soll!Ach ja, die Blumensträuße, die überall stehen, sind der Wahnsinn! Sogar die Toilette wird von einem imposanten Strauß geschmückt!Also ein toller Abend mit Freunden in einer grandiosen Bar im wunderschönen Salzburg."
