Love this place, incredible food but they have frustrating policy. We googled their hours and it said open until 8:00 We walked in at 7:05 and we're turned away. They close at 8:00 but do not take any tables after 7:00. Call before you go to be sure you will get in. read more.

The owners have made a wonderful task to create a bistro style atmosphere that in the summer months it can be VERY...busy. Reservations are available for the indoor restaurant. "We were stranded in the Lions Head during the Dec 2022 storm and the owners offered us generously free meals during this time. You were very kind. They opened the restaurant during Christmas just to cook lunch and breakfast the next day and make sure we are well fed. The food was impeccable and no restaurant in Toronto can come close. The cook, terry, cooks with passion and love and you can taste it in food. I look forward to going to the lion's head under better conditions, just eating in this restaurant."

"Uninteresting beer selection. Ordered a burger. Probably one of the worst burgers I've ever had. It did not appear to be 100% beef like there was filler. Maybe they hadn't gotten their beef supply in for the season, and they had to go to the local grocery store and buy cheap frozen patties? (Visited on June 11, 2018)"
