"Great little cafe. In the area for 2 weeks and stopped by this place 4 times. Never disappointed. The ham and cheese panini was great. They have cold sandwiches already made that they will warm up if you like. Also picked up a bag of golden raisins while I stopped in the first time. So good. Nice little consignment area too."

"Marydales is definitely the place to go to eat in Lions Head. Has a great selection of food, all day breakfast options and the famous Crispy Chicken Wrap that is to die for. Do not leave Lions Head without stopping at this restaurant. The prices are great, food quality is great and the portions are big. 100% Recommend to go for lunch and dinner."

"We ordered the smothered bbq chicken and the deluxe pizza for takeout. Unfortunately the smothered chicken was difficult to eat, and smelled like maybe one of the vegetables has gone bad. The pizza was ok."

"I just wanted to add the Ritings for this place. I'm glad I'm here. Honored by nice service tells about one of the staff best pizza around and it was no joke, crust is amazing, sauce was perfect and the cheese was fantastic. Awesome pizza and will stop again for dinner when in the area. Thank you."

"My partner and I saw the sign for the Breakfast Brunch Buffet and stopped in on the morning of July 23.We were greeted by an enthusiastic young lady who said the buffet was $10.99 per person, and then we seated ourselves.There was only one other party in the restaurant at the time.The buffet consisted of pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon. We also ordered coffee.Sorry to say that we were very disappointed in the breakfast.Then, when the bill came, we were surprised - shocked - to see that the price wasn't $10.99 as originally quoted, but $15.95. Per person.We discussed this with the server and ended up splitting the difference.Red Bay Lodge has been around for a long, long time and I had hoped the new owners would try to bring it back to its former glory. Sadly, it seems that they're not interested in investing the time and energy to make it a success. Or perhaps they'e tried but have given up.They could turn this place into a great dining establishment but need to make substantial investments to do so. A fresh, hot breakfast, served at a buffet, instead of warmed-over fare drying out in an aluminium tray, would have been preferable, especially at $16 per person.The Lodge is currently for sale, and the restaurant is only open Thurs - Sun."
