Location- at a street corner in barrio alto , near baixo chiado station .Ambiance- very casual , simple , no thrills Service friendly, efficient Food great , if not wow . What Chodo doesn't like about Cantinho Das Gáveas:
We are staying close by and went for convenience. The food was OK but not what we thought we were ordering. We asked the waiter (clearly an immigrant) what a dish was. We were told fish. We got beef. It was good. The black beans were fantastic. If you need to eat and they have a table, then go. Otherwise, I think better food is available where the owners care.
