Not many options in Listowel but you can get a good meal here. Breakfast is solid, soups are homemade and very good.

"Unfortunately we did not have the best experience this time around. The service was sub par. My husband's fries were raw and his meal was missing key ingredients. The server didn't seem to care much that day I guess and even my meal that I always order the same thing was different. It seemed like maybe there was a different cook or something. I will give them another chance because it's usually very good there and that's why we keep coming back but hopefully we get the other waitress next time. Lol Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3"

"Ends up temporarily in this small town of Palmerston waiting for a few hours to subdue snow qualls. Apparently a very friendly city, as was evident from my experience, visited in several shops during the killing time. Ends until food in Minto Shawarma and I am very happy that I did. I love Shawarma, and I'm restless. Okay, I'm pretty demanding. So... Ahmed has his own personal touch on his homemade sauces (to which he is proud). As mentioned in other reviews, he takes a bar b q style sauce approach and first I was like what's that? and the unexpected taste met me first so differently, but a bite or two in me realized that this really delicious! Funny, like something unexpected or other can draw less positive reviews. I assure you that this variation of the sauce guarantees your culinary examination of this western variant of a middle east block. The salads were fresh and the generous portion of meat and sauces was satisfying. The meat (I had a mixture of beef and chicken and they were also fresh and tasty. I ate every last idiot of my left as soon as I got home. Hey, you, reader, I challenge you to get the pictures I made of my food and not saliva! Ahmed is a very pleasant, friendly and generous man. It was pleasant to hear his banter with his local regular guests. Thank you, sir, for taking my time to show me different routes I could take home. I will certainly stop again when my way goes anywhere near your city, would love my family try your food (I didn't even think to share my remains!! Kevin"
