"Lunch 22. May, 2023 It was not in years; what a pleasant visit. The table orders ...fishing n chips...nice scatters nearby perfectly cooked, ... the shells were right on, tender and cooked again perfectly when the fried were not hand cut, they were the best imitation of it, sure that the Koleslaw was hand cut. The Schellkuchen were good, the sides on the plate; large Chutney.. Exceptional homemade beans and an interesting salad...fresh, though a bit of light on the carrot ginger dressing... plus reasonable price/grand value. Would definitely return if in the area! "I had the seafood chowder and fish cakes not the standard fare. Both were excellent. Most people ordered fried clams. Everything is made from scratch at time of order. Homemade pies looked very tasty too! Dining area was simple and clean."

"Exemplary service. I had some issues at checkout and got a call out of the blue to fix it. So so so impressed. Next day delivery on a Monday after ordering on a Sunday. The only company I could find offering this. And the flowers are gorgeous with a cute little fake ladybird on one of the leaves. I’m delighted. My friend who I sent the flowers to is delighted. "This cute place with good food may be becoming a victim of its own success. In late August a friend and I stopped in for Sunday brunch. We waited 65 minutes for a breakfast wrap and an omelette. When the owner came by to ask...about our meal I replied that the food was very good but that waiting more than an hour was not acceptable and I doubted I would be back. Her stunning response your loss and she turned away. No, I am sorry , Can I get you something etc etc. I was gob smacked with her attitude and, by the way, I won 't be back."
