Not really prepared for us to visit. It’s like our booking was a surprise to them. If you do posh afternoon tea deliver it in ONE SINGLE go so we can photograph it and re-send . Fantastic location combined with less than ordinary service regrettably. We ha brekkie in the hotel too. Staff excellent; just too few. Shame. Ultimately poor value for money. read more.

Lovely evening but the live music did not play for long enough, which was disappointing as they were good!

The service was appallingly bad. Had to wait 20 mins for our drinks to arrive, then mine didn’t come with the milk I’d asked for, 4 times for the water, scones...

The service overall was nice, although I would have liked more details and information about the dishes and the inspiration of them from the waiters. The rhythm of the food felt also slightly too fast for my preference, and I didn't always have time to pick the drink for the next dishes because of that, especially if I didn't like the first choice proposed by the sommelier.
