"Amazing olde pub had to duck down in some places as the ceilings were so low!! Great food. Great service. Great manager. So happy we found this place, which is not local to us and had a 50mins drive to thank goodness we were not disappointed. Will definitely go back and try and tie in a nice walk before or after."

"What a great place to eat! The food was excellent, I had the festive menu with partridge to start and venison as a main and it was 5 star. The staff had time to chat and with the log burner glowing I could have stayed all afternoon. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
