This family run outlet is a cut above the rest. Maybe it's magic, maybe it's some secret ingredient or some ancient oriental wisdom bequeathed by the owner's Vietnamese ancestors - I don't know. BUT what I do know is they make the best potato cakes this side of the Black Stump. Never had better. Spotlessly clean, friendly, fast service. Do yourself a favour and go visit. read more.

"Great experience trying the Korean BBQ. The staff give you the initial direction on how to prepare your meal then its all up to you. Plenty to eat, great flavour and for some a novelty cooking at the table for yourself. Well worth the experience. Loved it."

"How much does this place need my review ....NOT AT ALL !!. This historical country pub is a 'not to be missed ' place to visit when you come to Bendigo. Over 150 years old you can imagine yourself in England or Ireland, solid brick walls some of which may have come from the earth they removed whilst putting in the dam over 100 years ago. The menue is vast and the meals HUGE, could even be worth a day trip from Melbourne !!.Gets so busy on a Sunday lunch time that it is worth booking a table."
