"I thought I'd be put off by the large space and bright lights but instead I was pleasantly surprised by how clean, fresh and friendly my first impression was on entering the space felt immediately intimate and welcoming. I didn't expect the delightful thrill I got from the very first greeting from the tall bearded man wearing a beret his warmth professionalism melted any doubts I had about trying out this restaurant for the first time I now believe this is my most favourite restaurant on the Coast after tonight! (and it was mentioned it has been here for 4 years ...there is also a whisper that they will be bringing back music, bands and possibly a big band! The Chef Daniel, is a genius with the multi dimensioned taste texture sensations he created from the Entree to the Deserts (of which I had to have two different ones as I couldn't decide...there was more than one that excited me! not only that, whilst I don't drink, I was offered a surprise mocktail which was very unexpected and exotic. The staff each one of them that served us were so accessible and attentive to our requests were like gold as they contributed to the light buzzy atmopsphere and overall superb experience. The kitchen and bar open and on display were sparkly and made us feel so welcome and included. Thank you for being there and making our time with you tonight such a joyful experience!"

"This restaurant has 'the best ' Rogan Josh ever, perfect in taste and serving size. Actually one serving feeds me 2 meals. The rice was great, the naan bread awesome poppadoms just perfect..... Loved It! Thank you for a lovely meal, will definately be having this again :"

"Great first weekend experience! Coffee is creamy and they have good portion sized meals. my favourite was the fritters and too wash it down got a fresh juice that wasn't over priced! Just a great cafe overall with awesome service , thanks guys cya next week!"

"We'd been curious to see what sort of Mexican food Hernando's had on offer as the skeletons painted on the side of the building only made it more intriguing. Finally having the opportunity, we made our way to this small, welcoming restaurant that had a real surprise of delicious offerings on its menu. Do not come here if you want tacos with slatherings of rice and beans as you normally get at an average Mexican restaurant. The food here is offered in small plates like tapas, so that you can savour several of the dishes that are so good with just enough heat to be flavourful, but not overpowering. This is not a place to bring small children as the menu is much more sophisticated. Save room for one of the desserts to top off your meal. There is corkage of $6 per bottle (wine only). There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on offer. Congrats to the chef of this creative Mexican cuisine."

"We ordered takeaway, so cannot comment on the ambience or service. Our food was delivered promptly and was still hot. The garlic Nans were delicious. Buttery, garlicy and charred nicely. The curries, however, were all only reasonable to good. Some were a little too oily and the flavour base of many was too heavy on cumin. However, for a local takeaway and for the price it is a very good choice. Just not consistently amazing. Hence 4/5 from me."

"All of the food was subpar. The burgers were very bad, mine had uncooked bacon and the misses was burnt to a crisp. The chicken wings were wierd tasting, burnt, very oily and sloppy. Also the 6 dollar lemonade tasted like really strong cordial. This place has gone downhill badly."
