When I heard about these pies I had to try them (I am known for driving extremely long distances for something special from a bakery . LJ 's did not disappoint!...

"I thought I'd be put off by the large space and bright lights but instead I was pleasantly surprised by how clean, fresh and friendly my first impression was on entering the space felt immediately intimate and welcoming. I didn't expect the delightful thrill I got from the very first greeting from the tall bearded man wearing a beret his warmth professionalism melted any doubts I had about trying out this restaurant for the first time I now believe this is my most favourite restaurant on the Coast after tonight! (and it was mentioned it has been here for 4 years ...there is also a whisper that they will be bringing back music, bands and possibly a big band! The Chef Daniel, is a genius with the multi dimensioned taste texture sensations he created from the Entree to the Deserts (of which I had to have two different ones as I couldn't decide...there was more than one that excited me! not only that, whilst I don't drink, I was offered a surprise mocktail which was very unexpected and exotic. The staff each one of them that served us were so accessible and attentive to our requests were like gold as they contributed to the light buzzy atmopsphere and overall superb experience. The kitchen and bar open and on display were sparkly and made us feel so welcome and included. Thank you for being there and making our time with you tonight such a joyful experience!"

"We were here for a birthday celebration and couldn’t fault anything. The food was plentiful and delicious, a good variation of heat for those in our group who don’t like it too spicy, the heat was tempered with so much flavor. It was really an excellent Mexican meal. The cocktails were also great, the service was great, we can’t wait to go back!"

"We ordered takeaway, so cannot comment on the ambience or service. Our food was delivered promptly and was still hot. The garlic Nans were delicious. Buttery, garlicy and charred nicely. The curries, however, were all only reasonable to good. Some were a little too oily and the flavour base of many was too heavy on cumin. However, for a local takeaway and for the price it is a very good choice. Just not consistently amazing. Hence 4/5 from me."

"We were driving past and by chance stopped for lunch. Not only a really nice bloke but the kebabs were sensational everything was fresh. The hot chips brilliant if you love them thick hot and crispy. His shop was immaculately clean as well. We'll definitely be back. Thanks."
