We stopped in for Thursday night dinner. A little crowded but seated right away. App special was a tamal, beautiful presentation and tasty (vegetarian . Had $5 house margarita and $5 Tecate. Dinner was good as El mundo menu high end Mexican, not what you get at regular mex restaurants. A go to place in Louisville. View all feedback.

El Mundo used to be one of the best places in town but they seem to be struggling with their operations. The last few times we have visited we waited about an hour for our food and didn't really have an appetite by the time it arrived. It's a shame because we really used to enjoy going here. Our meals were delicious! Cool a atmosphere. Definitely we come back to dine in.
Great food! Very flavorful and very Mexican. I liked it a lot. James was a great caretaker for our party.
