"What a fantastic experience! The service was out of the top drawer . My daughter and I visited on a rainy, icy cold day, which made the location even more beautiful. The food was fit for royalty. I started with the pear salad with crisp pancetta and shavings of the most delightful cheese. My main was also something to boast about the beef. It was tasty and tender. Desert was a little too sweet, not my favourite, that was the apple pudding. I found the adltmosphere was welcoming, the waitress was professional and tentative. I would highly recommend this location for a wedding, special meal date or celebration. Well done to all."

"Update 22/04/22 Back again and beautiful surroundings and wonderful staff. A roaring peat fire welcomed us on a cold night. Starters excellent, lamb and steak excellent as well as monk fish. Unfortunately the 2 dishes of seabass came out luke warm and had to be sent back so unsure what happened. Its still a wonderful restaurant and we will return. Enjoyable evening. Wonderful food in a family restaurant. Beautiful setting and staff service is excellent without imposing. A must visit. Great quality and worth the price."
