"Dinner at Pigs and Cows was the best meal of our entire trip, and we ate very well across Portugal. This charming, elegant, family-owned restaurant was certainly the highlight of our brief visit to Faro! The service was top notch, and the food was fantastic. We also think €45 a person is a great deal for the meal and experience you get. Just be sure to book in advance. They work with a small but mighty team and can only handle so many tables in a night. Don’t miss out on a spectacular meal!"

"Nice small place amidst all the grilled fish restaurants it is good to find interesting vegetarian food. The dishes are really cool, with things like beet carpacio and a beef burger. For the less adventurous there is the cannelloni and lasagne Try out the onion pakora. It is fried onions in a spice batter, nice and tasty. The fried potato starter is done with tasty potato skin with a good garlic mayonnaise dip The wine card has a good selection of wine to pair with"

"To find a place which serves dinner till late in November in Faro is a tough challenge. Thankfully, these guys gave us a table for people at with no reservation. Big claps for that. We really enjoyed the dinner and tried varied Portuguese specialties, like the Octopus à la Lagareiro or the Cod oven baked with broccoli. The atmosphere is lively and chatty and the staff super friendly, despite the late hour. We were even offered a round of digestifs and a bite of their typical dessert, the carob cake. Astounding service and good food."
