My wife and I are new residents to Lowbanks... Hippos is a great find. Mike and Sue made us feel right at home and the food quality and portions make this a must-go-to restaurant when traveling through Lowbanks. Had lunch from Hippos today and must say I was rather disappointed. As a vegetarian when friends or family want to eat there I generally order a quesadilla. These have become very “hit and miss”.
