What Kiersti Ruhl doesn't like about Rusty Wagon Old Tyme Food Beverage Company:
I was served undercooked chicken strips for my 1-year-old at this restaurant. The waitress apologized and blamed the new cook, but it was still unacceptable and left us all feeling traumtized. It completely ruined our appetites. View all feedback.

We have tried most articles on the breakfast menu, from the seniors breakfast (for $8.00, you are kidding me! to the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs Benedict, nothing is plated except it is perfection. That was our experience every time. We have to come by the breakfast card and take a lunch or dinner at one of these days, as I can only imagine that afternoon evening entries are nothing less fabulous. When we get family from Minnesota or Georgia or Canada for this matter to the city, we bring ALWAYS to breakfast naturally to the Rusty Wagon.
Tried this place on a busy Thursday evening dinner hour. It was very popular. My first impression was that it was like a diner who tried to masquerade as a diver. Much Country Kitsch. I was greeted enthusiastically when I went in the door and showed a simple but comfortable stand. The menu is quite impressive and includes many options. I chose one of her specialties, the best Rib dinner. The price was half of what I see in other places on site. The ribbing was well seasoned, tasty and cooked to the desired finish, but the quality was not USDA Prime, but at this price I will accept that every time. It was accompanied with baked potato and garden vegetables. For some reason, the baker was full of sour cream, green onions and bacon bits; I've never been asked how I like my bakers. (I just prefer butter). The vegetable Medley was a wonderful mixture, all cooked to the perfect tenderness, but...unseasoned and unfortunately served lukewarm. My waitress was excellent and deftly tied a whole house while providing very fast and personal service. I will visit again and try something else on the big menu.
This will be our new goto place for very filling and good food. Great service and good food. Will go back pictures are the filled French toast and the Rusty car Burger.
Great food! Quick and hot! Great service. Fun on the walls. Two thumbs up!
The Rusty Wagon hosted our Corvettes Unlimited of Bellingham Corvette club of 30 members. The Rusty Wagon team of servers did an outstanding job of accommodating our group by seating us at tables already prepared for our arrival, taking our drink orders promptly and then our food orders as well. The food was provided in a very timely manner and was delicious. Kudos to the team! Excellent job! You all deserve to be proud of yourselves for the work you do everyday!
