What Dorie likes about Le Refuge des Gourmets:
We had a really nice lunch here. We hadn't booked and received a very nice welcome. The restaurant decor is old fashioned but didn't find the food so. The Cauliflower Garden entree was really quite special as was the mackerel amuse bouche. I had cod, husband had duck, both very tasty. Would certainly go back. Had chosen this restaurant to celebrate 2 special occasions 93rd Birthday for my Mother and my sons 37th Had heard mixed opinions, SO we decided to go for it Very odd décor. Nice seasonal menu offered Nice selection of wines BUT service was just POORNOT up to par with the level of Institution with 1 Michelin Star THIS should be revised Shame, because the food quality is very good View all feedback.
