"While I have to give an absolute thumbs up for the marvelous view, I have to say as compared to many other places we have visited on the island (this is our 5th time now) we were not impressed. The food was fine, yet a bit expensive as compared to what the island has to offer. The service was highly polite, but slow and we really had to put effort into getting noticed. We had a nice evening. But we would have had it elsewhere equally."

"We were staying at the hotel. Superb picanha steak best we’ve had. Lovely staff, service very good despite the restaurant being full. Currently only open one night a week, hope that changes very soon."

"Everything we ordered (liver, octopus salad, and seafood ala cataplana) was delicious and well prepared. We especially loved the cataplana seafood dish. The restaurant has an excellent view of the ocean and the stadium from the patio and a comfortable interior with tidy bathrooms. Best liver and seafood I have had on Madeira."
