The suite is beautiful. But the stay is nothing short of horrific. Stomping, running, wrestling, non stop kids in an upstairs suite is just plain torture....
Whoever booked my suite was inconsiderate. He/she/they put me under a family with a toddler. I spent what was supposed to be a reset and relax from my job...

"Overpriced!!!! Almost everything on this menu comes out of a freezer. Seriously i dont think anything on the menu is fresh...and the chicken Caesar wrap is breaded deep fried chicken fingers wrapped in a flour tortilla with caesarsalad mixed in...for 23$ ...WTF. Great view...NOT great food. Server was condescending and made us feel like it was our fault that we didn't know that the item was made with breaded chicken fingers even though its not described as that. EVERYONE knows crispy chicken is deep fried chicken fingers...right?!? That's what she told us. Well maybe it's just us..."

"Homely ambiance, with bustling staff serving delicious local seafood with a smile and a story! Sit outside on the sheltered deck and watch the glorious setting sun, or inside in the cosy cafe area while you sip and eat with friends or family. This was...an impressive first stop on a boat trip up to Desolation Sound and hoped us all connect and relax. Will definitely stop here again, or even drive up the Sunshine Coast it was that good!"

"This place is expensive and hard to get into, but it's one of the best restaurants north of Vancouver. The cook (Aldo Cogrozzi) is well known locally and serves superb pasta dishes as well as steaks, fresh seafood and things like wild boar and sturgeon. It's always full, so don't turn up without a reservation unless you are content with a long wait, but if you can get a table, by all means go"

"We dined here twice on it’s opening weekend for the 2023 season. The new chef is amazing! The mussels appetizer was probably my favorite with a perfect balance of just enough heat to keep me (a chilli fan) entertained, without overwhelming my wife’s more sensitive tastebuds. She thought it was pretty outstanding, too, but the Baked Alaska Sorbet dessert might have been her favorite. Both the appetizer and dessert were in sufficient quantities to be shared happily between the two of us. The mains were excellent, too, and we highlight recommend the beef, the local sablefish and the Mango Cauliflower Fried Rice.The service was friendly and professional, the facilities pristine and the setting… well, they built a resort here for reason!! If you’re planning on having a drink and are not staying at the resort, do plan ahead for a ride home, though. Highly recommended, and a highlight of our trip!"

"Great place to grab breakfast and coffee! My wife got the eggs Benny and I got the eggs duo -the Benny was fantastic but both were great with delicious bacon. Coffees were also great plus everyone was friendly. Will definitely come back when we are in the area again."

"Food is amazing here. The atmosphere is vibrant and stimulating, featuring wall murals mixed with Mexican themes. Indoor and outdoor seating is available with upbeat music that is at a comfortable volume to allow for easy conversation. Our party enjoyed our food and drinks immensely. The facilities appeared clean and the bathroom was well stocked with soaps, paper towels and hand sanitizer. While there were no complaints about our food or our server in particular, it was evident that the restaurant is understaffed. The restaurant was full when we arrived, so expect to wait around 40 min for your food to arrive and about 15 for your drinks if it is busy. A further displeasure was the taste of the water, which tasted too much like lake water. One important thing to note is at the time of this review, they DO NOT take reservations, save seats, or keep a list. This is a first come first serve restaurant. Aside from the long wait time for food and the drinks, we highly enjoyed this restaurant and would readily eat here again."

"The little burger place was recommended by a local. Because of the Covid restrictions a take-away seemed like a safe alternative to an eat-in place. The staff answered questions and made recommendations ... what a great burger we had ... glad we did not have and extras . There are log picnic tables to sit at if desired and they are well separated. We opted to sit out in the cool and mist and have the burgers hot. It was a delicious lunch and we will be back for sure."
