This is one of my first visits here, and the food was delicious! The manager was very sweet and the service was fast. The pork ramen was absolutely delicious. The meat was soft and well-cooked. The place was recently renovated, and it was very nice and clean. I would highly recommend coming here! View all feedback.
What Matt M doesn't like about I Love Sushi Japanese Cuisine:
Delivery had the hot yakiniku don sitting on top of the sushi. The yakiniku was way too sweet. Some of the sushi was ok. They were heavy handed with the tobiko (flying fish roe) topping on rolls. This ingredient is super salty and I dumped half of it off the rolls. Less is more. Heard this was the best sushi in Huntsville… View all feedback.
Had a great time here! Ordered a bunch of rolls and teriyaki chicken! Not the best sushi we’ve ever had but definitely very fresh and well presented.Chicken teriyaki was fried chicken which was new for me, very yummy! Side vegetables were plain steamed (which is fine) but I would’ve liked it to be more “mixed in.”Prices were fair, maybe a little pricey for what you get but definitely a great place. Not busy at all even at peak hours, extremely clean establishment. Our server was wonderful as well, very kind and paid attention to detail. We loved her!
My husband and I go there a couple times a month and it’s always wonderful. But this time my 3 friends and I sat for 30 minutes before we even were greeted, another 30 for our appetizers, and when all four of us ordered miso soups, only two of us got it, then the other two got their entrees before me and another friend. One of which was the wrong order. We waited another 30 minutes before we finally had to inform a bartender we were missing half our entrees. The manager finally came by and blamed my friends first experience and said “yeah it can be confusing for first time customers” when it was the servers fault. The manager offered us a discount but only took $5 off the entire ticket. She then charged the wrong cards. The manager then proceeded to blame the server, saying she was new. But how is a new server being sat 2 parties, a six and twelve top, and 2 four tops? I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and I wasn’t given a party of 6 until my third week. All in all, both our server and manager experience was absolutely below average and in the 2 hours we sat and waited, and corrected our orders, the kitchen staff rang their bell impatiently. I don’t blame the kitchen staff, I blame the server and the manager for not being more responsive to customers and communicating better with us.
It was Mother's Day and it was crazy busy, but our server was amazing. She took the time give recommendations to the kids and engaged with all of us. The food was beautiful and yummy. Even tried Sake (not for me, lol). We will go back as we were invited to by our server. If they are that awesome on the busiest day of the year for a restaurant they have to be incredible on a normal day.
Horrible experience tonight. Had to track down a waitress to even acknowledge we were there. Every single step (drinks, apps, ordering, food, bills, etc) took a lifetime. Server was not confident at all to wait tables. Spilt half of food on plates on the floor and did not clean up or even really acknowledge it and certainly didn’t replace it. We had to go to Freddy’s after we left Sushi in order for our daughter to have a complete meal. Incorrectly brought my wife’s food twice and then was upset when we asked to be comped for it.We’ve been there before and had a great server and a great experience but not once did we see a manager come around and check on tables tonight. You had to have known that one of your weaker servers was drowning with a ten top. Because of tonight’s experience, we won’t return.
