Service is amazing. The ladies at the counter are always extremely friendly and kind. The custard is not cheap but in my opinion tastier than the one at Culver’s. The burgers are always so fresh! I don’t understand how this place doesn’t have more 5 star ratings. Support your local businesses!!! It might be a bit more expensive than Culver’s but the atmosphere and the food always makes it worth the trip for me. View all feedback.
What Jamie Pittman doesn't like about Michael's Frozen Custard:
I am extremely disappointed in my experience here. Not only did I have to repeat my very simple order 4 different times to confirm the employee heard it correctly, but my rather small blended ice cream (16oz) was very costly, and very poor quality. I got a cup of coffee flavored custard, and it was over $11. As if that’s not bad enough, it was soupy, and had an icy, grainy texture. I have heard good things about this... View all feedback.
The custard is top notch we just can’t afford to go there often when custard for two adults and one toddler with tip is $28.
Pricey but far better than that big chain of restaurants that sell frozen custard. Customer service was great.Food: 4/5
I was surprised by how high the prices were. $8+ for a single scoop waffle cone for myself. Was it a good size and tasty? Yes. Would I pay $8+ again? No. This is not an affordable place for a family to go, imo. Just know that going in, as I was totally caught off guard with a $34+ bill for my son, his friend and myself to each get a treat yesterday. (Rating a 3 because quality and staff were good, but price was a shock and I want people to be aware of that before they go.)Edit: wanted to add that you couldn't get a cup of water for free. You had to buy a bottle of water for $1. I would think if you bought anything there, a cup of tap water could at least be complimentary.
Maybe custard is good. 11$ burger is not worth it. 18 with fry and drink. Go to culvers for a better burger and value.
I love this place. Been going for years. Prices have gotten very high, which, if you are paying your employees well. Fine. However, in my most recent trip through their drive thru I was prompted for a tip... at a drive thru. So are they not paying their employees well enough? If you are paying them with tips, then the food should be cheaper. You can't have both.Pretty disappointed with that experience.
