"Is a crazy chef's idea of a pizza joint. That said, the owner and chef is a crazy cool dude that makes up some really awesome brick-fired pizzas. I had one that was a homage to his Louisiana friend which was andouille sausage,and shrimp pizza. He had a special of spaghetti and meatballs that day. Didn't try it but looked awesome. Well worth the travel to Madison for this. Awesome little hole in the wall pizza place.Parking: He has a few places up front but more parking in the back"

"Uphill, downtown doesn't matter. Time doesn't matter. We have stopped at all hours, different days at both locations and I have NEVER tasted, seen or smelled a glazed donut from them. Good for them..my bad. I would say maybe one day but I'm over it. Went to the hilltop last week and they were closed at about 11:00. Probably out of donuts. So I can get them at the gas station at the top of Hanging Rock. That makes all kinds of sense. Maybe you all should put gas pumps in and sell gas. With all the visits and missed NOT ONE employee said we could pre-order or get the donuts at the gas station. Wonder if they sell out by 9AM?One more try. I go to the eye doctor across the street. I was there yesterday. Sign says Horst does not deliver Saturday or Sunday. But in front of me was a donut holder.. without a single donut in it. I give up.. you win."

"I had a delicious cooking package for lunch today. My mother tuna melt and chicken tortilla soup also looked amazing. She said they were both very tasty. My only criticism is that nutritional information is not listed. Will definitely be back."

"We stopped at this location while visiting from out of town on Friday, September 15th. The sign on the door said they opened at 4:30 PM. We made a trip back around 5:30 and the place was still closed. Locals informed us the business is for sale and is never open. If this is true, Mad Paddle needs to update their door signage and Google information so people are forewarned not to waste their time."

"This place is excellent! The starting salad and miso are heavenly and the sushi are great.
