I made my reservations almost a week before and told my dietary restrictions and of course I get there for the first time and they have no cheese for me. What’s pizza without cheese? Plus I HATE a school house : and that’s what the crust was and it had way too much balsamic on it. "I 'm all for Rebecca 's and wish them great success. The owners have done an exemplary job of trading up the boring interior of their new location for a colorful, interesting vibe. Great job on the renovations! The service at Rebecca 's is prompt and responsive. The food needs some attention. The salad was beautifully presented but the dressing needed a little livening up. The sandwich I had was slippery and I didn 't care for it at all. I will return to this place knowing that it will get much better as it goes along. It 's a welcome larger restaurant for Mahone Bay and the repairs they are making to the building will make it as attractive on the outside as it is on the inside. I went to Rebecca 's at their NEW location a second time this summer. The decor at this location is finally living up to its potential and the inside of the restaurant is super pleasant. There is also a stone patio with a wonderful view of Mahone Bay. Still, based upon the comments of my fellow company of six, I think Rebecca needs to totally rethink the menu over the winter and opt for very high quality pub food reminiscent of the Knot Pub in Lunenburg. God knows the local pub is awful, Rebecca 's sole Mahone Bay fine dining wannabe rival is mediocre at best, and the field is open for a really good BASIC food offering in Mahone Bay. Rebecca 's now has a wonderful space and she can make it happen if she chooses."

"I asked the server to make my burger as "rare as you dare". This, to them, obviously means "just leave it on the grill and let tectonic drift take it to the customer. My wife's lobster omlette was as lacking in lobster as the Mojave is lacking in water.They seemed to be doing a brisk business in ice cream, but we didn't come there for ice cream."
