The cafe is in the Waterstones Book Store. It's quite large very relaxing and serves good coffee and cakes. There is a loyalty card which eventually gives a free drink. As an alternative to say Costa, I would recommend it View all feedback.

Now I know some coffee shops can charge through the roof however, this one takes the punch properly! £6 £2.40 for a latte) and £3.60 for a bacon butty). Someone clearly forgot to mention that butter and ketchup/brown sauce came with extra cost as did an actually hot drink! View all feedback.
I visit in the afternoons and it's as good as you could want. Anonymous, pleasant, agreeable. Try it.

The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and eat and drink in beautiful weather, and there's a counter where you can sit and enjoy. The seat / dining area invites you to linger and extensively sample.
