Had lunch here with my daughter and was pleasantly surprised. I have almost come to expect Maitland cafés to have slow and miserable service, so this was a revelation. Cheerful, efficient, lovely food and great value. I've since spoken with somebody else who has been here a few times and is equally impressed. Recommended. read more.

Went to Bistro Demeure with the family for lunch. Service was very very slow. Staff were somewhat disinterested in the customers. Food itself was good though. Street parking down the road. Restaurant decor was tired but clean enough. Not sure I would ever eat there again though, unless I was happy to wait a long time for a meal. read more.
