So nice to go to a cafe where the people are friendly, approachable and real. Sense of humour and happy to chat if you are open to it(but swift and efficient too). The food was really tasty (and we know our food), it had nice coffee, and it had a nice vibe. Definitely worth a visit, local or traveller. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Marmook & Poom Poom's:
I went for lunch. Felt a bit rushed, food came fast-Soup was good, toast a bit underdone/soft. Chips also underdone but with a good aioli. Service was initially fast and friendly, but after I had been delivered my meal, nothing. Would have had a second glass of wine. No water offered. Decent atmosphere. Good spot, with potential but left me wishing I'd gone next door. View all feedback.
Awesome spot run by a Father/Son team. Quality food and service. Flavour bomb menu items with a decent drink selection also. No hesitation recommending The Rigby. Will definitely visit again.
Excellent food with a tapas style menu so you get a variety of your tastes. Excellent vibe and experience, mostly thanks to the service. We felt comfortable and welcomed. Great selection of wines and cocktails without being overwhelmed. We will be back with friends!
Return visit after a few years. New name at least I can remember and pronounce. Food and service was as I remember and the decor is stilly quirky but inviting. Enjoyed my meal and de-constructed Caesar, but did miss the anchovies...
Woke up hungrier than usual this morning and figured I'd treat myself and family to breakfast at The Rigby. It's not the first time I've eaten here- and it won't be the last. Coffee tick. Breakfast tick. Service tick. Lovely atmosphere to...sit and have a relaxed breakfast tick. This place seems to have a great menu with something for everyone. Look forward to my next visit. I made a reservation for dinner on a Friday night at this restaurant. Checking in was mandatory but easy. The service from all staff members was prompt and impeccable. The tapas dishes were delicious and the cocktails were divine. The atmosphere was relaxed and I can't wait to go back. This restaurant is a true gem in Maitland! Thank you for a fantastic evening!
