Have eaten at the pub 4-5 times for lunch returned for a Saturday night meal with friends before a local theatre show. A comprehensive menu that would suit all tastes. Decided to try this pub out for a birthday dinner, although I wish we hadn't. Ordered the 'chefs special' which is a steak with garlic prawns chips and salad. Dish came out on a sizzling plate which I thought was strange as I ordered my steak medium rare but with the temperature of the plate it took 15 minutes to cool down before you could eat it causing the steak to continually cook and become very well done.
