"Interesting and quirky little restaurant that has a very unique concept for ordering and delivering food to your table. Average tasting food for an above average price. Looks like a lot of people like this place based on these reviews but I didn’t get it. Have had better Thai food for less. To each his own."

"We had a table for two in the front dining room. I reserved the previous seats, as later seats were only available outside. The exterior seats seemed to have a beautiful view of the landscape. The front dining room had a large selection of decor. It felt like eating in a friend's house. The kitchen was also in the front dining room, but was not very loud. I particularly like the variety of books in the bookcases. Everything was clean and tidy. Our waiter was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu options. We had their version of Mai Tai and Moscow Mule. Both were excellent. Water was offered in glass carafes, which were immediately refilled before heating the water. The restaurant is not air conditioned, but the location in Hailemaile is usually cooler than the rest of Maui. Appetizers were ducks bao buns and a sashimi napoleon. The duck balls had a good balance of rolls to meat and were well composed by the Cole Slav. My wife usually doesn't like Cilantro, but she liked these rolls. The Sashimi was a variety of local fish (I think the salmon is imported) layers with crispy victory. You drizzle the sauce over the fish and somehow mix it. Fish will probably depend on the season. It was very good. I wish we had ordered a second order of the Sashimi. The first duck was a mostly boned crispy on the outer half of chicken smeared with a lemon sauce and potatoes. The chicken was very tasteful. The potatoes were clean and creamy. Second duck was the fish of the day (ono) on a bed of Shijitake Risotto and mixed vegetables with a saffron lobster beurre blanc. Fish was perfectly cooked and the sauce was divine. Just my favorite of the four dishes."
