"Went for their cendol and asam laksa. Cendol was sweet delight; gula melaka used was good. The asam laksa noodle was softer than what I prefer but the broth was right flavoursome. Request for the ha kao as it is not added to the asam laksa. Not used to half boiled egg in the asam laksa but it was ok. The Owner was polite. Service was prompt as well."

"There were seats available on Friday late morning. Great selection of nyonya kuehs. Taste wise, it's a bit on the sweet side, which may not appeal to all. I personally quite liked it, especially the cassava pastry and the ones with coconut shavings. Price is reasonable as well. Worth bringing your tourist friends over."

"Nice bucket of cattle ribs. Provides and moist and very tasteful in the true Tony Roma fashion. No longer available in Singapore and this is our problem. Not cheap, but worth the money. Services are also quite good, although waiters are rather young and inexperienced and cannot expect what we needed with 2 very young children."

"The last I been here was over 15 years ago and it was nice to still see this restaurant standing here. They follow the usual covid sop. Ambience is basic and the place still is rather crowded like those days. Menu now is based on qr code and order is placed via u're phone which is ingenious. Food came fast and I still love the XL sized drinks. Food tasted decent considering the price point. Don't expect fine dining levels of western food though. It's good reasonable and budget friendly western food. Overall happy with my outing here."

"Ichi Zen Pavilion KL has always been my favourite place. Today, I decided to try the one in Melaka. It did not disappoint. I ordered the salmon sashimi set, the chicken teriyaki set and a tempura set. Plus a salmon head syoyaki and black sesame Ebi tempura. Every dish was as it should be, quality maintained and freshness of the food was great. I will definitely revisit. Have a look at what we ordered.
