"Lisa and Dave are so inviting that you could easily bask in their cosy, warm and friendly surroundings all day long. They truly create a very special place, somewhere that stays in your mind and sticks to your heart. Their food is fantastic. I find a small savoury selection is a true sign of a confident master chef. The patties are the very best I’ve tasted, the cheesey scone was delicious and the soup was packed with flavour! The cake selection is phenomenal even if you are full, take a mini selection of treats or a slice of cake home otherwise you will regret it! I fondly dream of a pattie, a good ol’mug of tea, whilst soaking up the warmth of love and soft reggae music that exudes from The Loft."

"We ate here for valentine's Day and had a lovely meal food was all spot on and the service even though they were busy was also very good. They even handed roses out on your way out which i thought was a lovely touch. If you have been once and weren't sure go again!!! This was our second visit we weren't not long after they first opened and we weren't all that impressed but this time was very impressed and will definitely be returning soon."

"It has quite a nice vibe cross between a good beach restaurant and fine dining: the music is nice background. Open kitchen. Art for sale on the walls. So has a nice feel. The food was nice but my main (red mullet) was Luke warm. I think it’s all freshly prepared but perhaps Rey put mine to one side whilst cooking my partners cos his was hot. He had fish and chips and said it was ok. We shared their home made vienetta which was like rock we literally had to bang it to get the spoon into it! Again it tasted ok but nothing special. I probably would go back and give it another try but my partner said he didn’t think it warranted another try. Service and people were nice."

"We hired the Sunflower Eaterie in the evening for my husbands 30th birthday party. It's a great venue for a party! The buffet food was fantastic quality and there was lots of it! The staff are very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure it was an excellent evening. I'd highly recommend the Sunflower Eaterie as a venue."

"Stunning food, a real surprise when I first found it. Lovely authentic service, delivered with passion and a deep knowledge of the origins of the dishes. Great selection of both soft and alcoholic drinks, again authentic from Italy, traditional sodas etc. Ingatestone is very lucky to have a restaurant of this calibre on the high street; it's such a joy to visit every time. It's worth calling ahead, and you certainly have to book in the evenings. Given their popularity you may be disappointed if you don't call ahead to secure a table. Highly recommended; this is what great Italian food is all about Dietary restrictions: It's a relatively small kitchen preparing a wide variety of dishes from scratch. As such, you can't reasonably expect them to accommodate all intolerances and allergies. "Yesterday I and my partner had one out of here. it was absolutely delicious taste. well presented and large portion sizes. the delivery came earlier than expected. my partner was in mexiko and said that eating is the next one he was trying to be when he visited there. we would definitely recommend and dinate here. our new favourite place to eat."
